Larisa Tereshchenko was successfully recertified as a Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS). She was first certified in 2008. Exam is good for 10 years. CCDS examination assesses essential clinical knowledge relevant to pacemakers and ICDs and the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart rhythm disorders. The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions and is administered within a five-hour time limit. Standardization of knowledge is critical for the advancement of the heart rhythm profession. The CCDS certification has been adopted as the standard of heart rhythm competency. IBHRE certification confirms the specialty knowledge, the ability to meet competency standards, recognition by the community, and personal growth and satisfaction.
