Our collaborative paper "Associations of serum and dialysate electrolytes with QT interval and prolongation in incident hemodialysis: the Predictors of Arrhythmic and Cardiovascular Risk in End-Stage Renal Disease (PACE) study" is published in BMC Nephrology. One more step towards better understanding mechanisms of sudden cardiac death in incident dialysis.
We dedicate this manuscript to the memory of our friend and colleague, Dr. W.H. Linda Kao, and her enduring work on improving patient outcomes in chronic disease.
