Global electrical heterogeneity measurements on 10-sec 12-lead ECG are reliably reproducible.

Updated: Oct 13, 2021

Our manuscript is published in the Journal of Electrocardiology. We analyzed data of the large prospective cohort study (MESA) that consecutively recorded two 10-sec 12-lead ECGs. We showed that VCG metrics are reliably reproducible, which supports their implementation in clinical practice and research. GEH is reproducible if measured during normal sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation or ventricular pacing. Observed disagreement is mostly driven by the differences in heart rate between two compared ECG recordings.
